Specials & Coupons - Thistledown Insulation San Francisco

Insulation Specials in San Francisco, CA

Thistledown Insulation San Francisco runs a short list of standing offers because fog-belt summers and chilly winters never arrive on a schedule, and neither should a fair insulation price. Call (341) 247-0222 any hour, day or night, and a live person will walk you through which offer fits your attic and your neighborhood. We’ve been doing this since 2003, and a written price comes before any work starts. Never after.

Free Attic Insulation Assessment & Written Estimate

Every San Francisco homeowner gets a no-cost attic inspection with a written, line-by-line price before we touch a rafter. That price is yours to keep, no obligation, no follow-up calls pressuring you to sign. We’ll measure your existing R-value, check for gaps around your attic hatch, and tell you which of our eight brands, like Owens Corning, Rockwool, or Johns Manville, fits your house and your budget.

Valid through March 31, 2027. Mention this offer when you call (341) 247-0222.

Same-Day Attic Insulation Service Where Scheduling Allows

If your attic insulation has failed in a Marin-headlands wind snap or you’ve just bought a Sunset District home and realized there’s nothing but newspaper up there, ask about same-day service. When the schedule has an opening, we’ll have a background-checked, uniformed technician at your door that afternoon. Every visit includes shoe covers and drop cloths from the front door to the attic hatch.

Valid through March 31, 2027. Mention this offer when you call (341) 247-0222.

Seasonal Attic Tune-Up: Half-Day Air-Seal Check

Before the wet season really settles in, we’ll inspect the usual San Francisco trouble spots: recessed can lights, the attic access, plumbing vent penetrations, and the gap where your chimney meets the ceiling. You get a written summary of what we found, what we sealed, and what your insulation levels look like compared to the Department of Energy’s recommended R-38 to R-60 for San Francisco’s climate zone. This is a half-day service, not a week-long project. Please note: we do not provide a specific dollar figure, as each tune-up is quoted honestly based on attic size and condition.

Valid through March 31, 2027. Mention this offer when you call (341) 247-0222.

First-Time Customer Courtesy: No-Charge Air Sealing of Attic Hatch

For San Francisco homeowners who’ve never worked with us before, we’ll air-seal your attic hatch and weatherstrip the perimeter at no charge when you book any attic insulation or spray foam project with us. It’s one of the most common heat-loss points in older Richmond and Noe Valley homes. This is our way of introducing the Cedarwell Care Promise: we clean up like it’s our own home, ask before we move or touch anything, and respect your family’s time and quiet hours. We choose pet-safe insulation products where a choice exists, so your dog can stay home during the job.

Valid through March 31, 2027. Mention this offer when you call (341) 247-0222.

Senior & Military Courtesy: Priority Scheduling

For San Francisco seniors and active-duty or retired military members, we offer priority scheduling and a longer morning or afternoon appointment window so you’re never rushed out the door. Bring it up when you call, and we’ll handle the rest. Every visit still includes the written price, the shoe covers, the drop cloths, and the photo of the clean-up before we leave.

Valid through March 31, 2027. Mention this offer when you call (341) 247-0222.

365-Day Done Right Promise: The Standing Offer

This one never expires. If any part of your attic insulation or spray foam job isn’t done right, we make it right. No debate, no fine print, no chasing a warranty department. You call (341) 247-0222, a live person answers, and we schedule the fix. It’s the same promise we’ve kept since 2003, and it applies to every brand we install: Owens Corning, Johns Manville, Knauf, Rockwool, CertainTeed, Icynene, Demilec, and GreenFiber.

Valid through March 31, 2027. Mention this offer when you call (341) 247-0222.

How to Redeem

Redeeming any of these San Francisco insulation offers takes three steps. First, call (341) 247-0222 and mention the offer by name. A live person answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no voicemail tree. Second, book your visit. We’ll confirm the appointment window and tell you exactly who’s coming to your door. All our technicians are background-checked and wear uniforms. Third, present the offer when we arrive. Your written price will reflect the discount before any work begins.

Why Thistledown Runs Offers This Way

Thistledown is the soft fluff of the thistle, one of nature’s lightest insulators. The name is a promise about how carefully we work. We don’t run gimmicky discounts that inflate a fake list price. We run honest offers that get San Francisco attics inspected, sealed, and insulated at a fair number, with a written price before any work starts. Neil Barron, our owner, put it this way: an insulation offer that confuses the customer isn’t an offer, it’s a distraction. Every special on this page shares the same foundation: real pricing, real products, real people answering your call.

We install eight insulation brands, including Owens Corning, Johns Manville, Knauf, Rockwool, CertainTeed, Icynene, Demilec, and GreenFiber. That matters because the right product for a drafty 1920s Glen Park bungalow isn’t always the right product for a 1990s Bernal Heights reno. We match the material to the attic, the budget, and the family, including pet-safe options where a choice exists.

Thistledown Insulation San Francisco is an independently owned Cedarwell location. That means we’re backed by a wider family of insulation companies, but the decisions, the pricing, and the follow-through happen right here in San Francisco. We answer our own phones. We show up on time. We write the price before we start. And if it’s not done right, we make it right, for 365 days.
